The Farmers Bank to Chair 2025 United Way for Clinton County Fundraising Campaign
Calling on Clinton County businesses, organizations, and community members to join in a united effort to raise dollars for local programs and services.

FRANKFORT, INDIANA – The Farmers Bank is proud to announce that it will serve as the 2025 United Way for Clinton County Fundraising Campaign Chair. Headquartered in Frankfort, Indiana, The Farmers Bank has been a longtime supporter of the United Way and is honored to take on this leadership role to help mobilize resources and strengthen all of Clinton County, Indiana.

United Way for Clinton County is part of the global United Way movement, founded in Denver in 1887, and works to advance the common good by focusing on health, education, and financial stability. Every dollar raised by United Way of Clinton County is invested locally, supporting programs and initiatives that directly benefit people across the county.

Funds raised support essential programs such as:

  • Education: Mentorships for young readers through Friends of the Library, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and the Kindergarten Buddy program through Girl Scouts.
  • Health: Healthy, active programs for seniors at PPRC and diabetes support at Open Door Clinic.
  • Financial Stability: Food programs for teens at the Boys & Girls Club through a Frito Lay Grant, rent and utility assistance through Salvation Army, and summer meals for children 18 and under through community partnerships.

This year’s fundraising campaign goal is to raise more than $450,000 to support local initiatives and partner agencies. The Farmers Bank is calling on all Clinton County businesses, organizations, and residents to join in this united effort to raise the dollars needed to sustain these programs.

“The Farmers Bank is so proud to have supported United Way for Clinton County since its inception in 1958,” said Chris Cook, President and CEO of The Farmers Bank. “For decades, our employees have stepped up to contribute to these important causes, and The Farmers Bank has matched those contributions dollar for dollar. We are honored to continue this tradition as the 2025 Fundraising Campaign Chair and to help ensure the United Way’s work reaches even more people across the county that we ourselves were founded in.”

“In my role, I see firsthand the needs of our community,” said Anita Stewart, Executive Director of United Way for Clinton County. “It is wonderful to have a partner like The Farmers Bank to not only lead this year’s fundraising campaign, but to also actively serve through board leadership. With The Farmers Bank staff members Alyssa Stencel, Ginny Walker, and Courtney Scott representing the bank on our Board of Directors, The Farmers Bank is a true champion of our efforts. Their support helps us impact thousands of lives right here at home.”

There are many ways individuals and companies can join this year’s effort. First, make a personal or corporate donation to support United Way’s partner agencies. Second, encourage your workplace, church, or community group to host a fundraising activity that raises both dollars and awareness. Third, volunteer your time or talents with one of United Way’s local partner organizations to directly impact lives here in Clinton County. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier, and more financially stable community.
