The Farmers Bank Names Steve Latour as VP, Community & Customer Experience Officer
FRANKFORT, Ind. – July 14, 2025 – The Farmers Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Steve Latour to Vice President, Community & Customer Experience Officer. This new, first-of-its-kind position for the bank will play a vital role in advancing business development, increasing deposit growth, and enhancing the overall customer and community experience.
Latour joined The Farmers Bank in 2023 and has since led the successful opening of the bank’s Westfield Financial Center, establishing a strong local presence and cultivating key community partnerships. In his expanded leadership role, he will now oversee a cross-functional department focused on strategic growth initiatives, business relationship management, community partnerships, sponsorship alignment, and marketing and communications strategies.

Latour’s new position will serve as a catalyst for enhancing the bank’s visibility, value, and relevance in the communities it serves. In collaboration with teams across all locations, he will drive a cohesive business development strategy, lead marketing and communications personnel, and ensure that sponsorship and partnership efforts are both meaningful and measurable.
This role also places a strong emphasis on customer stewardship, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects The Farmers Bank’s values of trust, service, and commitment to community. By uniting customer care, business development, and brand strategy under one umbrella, The Farmers Bank is positioning itself for long-term impact and sustainable growth.
