The Farmers Bank’s Russell Doyle Completes Graduate School of Banking

Frankfort, IN — The Farmers Bank is pleased to announce that Russell Doyle, consumer loan portfolio manager, was awarded a diploma on August 24, 2012, at commencement exercises during the 68th annual session of the prestigious Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  

The School, sponsored by the 18 state bankers associations comprising the Central States Conference of Bankers Associations, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was established in 1945 to provide bankers with an opportunity for advanced study and research in banking, economics and leadership. Instruction at the Graduate School of Banking takes place during two-week resident sessions for three consecutive summers, along with comprehensive study between summer resident sessions. The curriculum focuses on the management of strategic issues faced by banking executives and financial services industry professionals.

The Farmers Bank president & CEO Karen I. Miller said, “We are very proud of Russ Doyle’s achievement. A degree from the Graduate School of Banking is no easy task and his knowledge from the school will be a great asset to the bank.”

Russ is a 1987 graduate of Miami University and 1983 Clinton Prairie High School graduate. A lifelong resident of Clinton County, Russ started his banking career in 1987 and has been with The Farmers Bank since 1989. With The Farmers Bank, Russ has served as a branch manager, commercial loan officer, retail loan officer, loan review officer, loan administration manager, and currently serves as the consumer loan portfolio manager. Russ has been active in the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, Antioch Congregational Christian Church, and Clinton Prairie Athletics. He is married to Jana and has two children, Hillary and Grant.
