The Farmers Bank Celebrates Read Across America Day at Clinton Prairie Elementary
Frankfort, IN — Nine employees from The Farmers Bank and Clinton Prairie Elementary students joined millions of their peers across the country to celebrate the fifteenth annual National Education Association's (NEA) Read Across America Day, March 2, 2012. This date marked Dr. Seuss’s 108th birthday anniversary.

“You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child. Doing our part to take care of the communities we serve has always been a priority among our company and employees," said Karen I. Miller, President and CEO at The Farmers Bank.

The Farmers Bank is a $450 million asset organization chartered in 1876 with headquarters in Frankfort, IN. The Farmers Bank is locally owned and operated with 10 banking offices located in Central Indiana providing retail, business, trust & asset management, investment, mortgage, and electronic banking services. Member FDIC, Equal Housing Lender.
