We are now hiring for the following position:

Senior Vice President of Technology/Operations                                   


Oversee the management of the Operations and Technology department, as well as the operation of the computer room.  Plan, research, and implement new programs and equipment in order to better the overall efficiency of the bank through the technology and operations   functions. 


  • Analyze and evaluate bank wide operation for efficiency.
  • Investigate EDP alternatives for improvements.
  • Proactively promote The Farmers Bank.
  • Assist internal and external customers to serve and exceed their expectations.
  • Accountable for all State and Federal regulations and bank policies/procedures that apply to this position and departments.
  • Serve as a leader in supporting and setting the example for the core values and customer service standards of The Farmers Bank.
  • Determine need for new equipment and facilitate research.
  • Coordinate efforts of vendors and departments, and assist with installment of equipment.
  • Serve as chair for Technology Committee.
  • Supervise Deposit Operations Officer and Manager of Computer Operations.
  • Review personal development appraisals and perform annual reviews.
  • Resolve customer complaints on issues related to the operations function.
  • Maintain standardized operations at all branch locations and main office.
  • Provide guidance on budget comparison.
  • Maintain operational procedures and ACH regulations.
  • Maintain Business Continuity Program.
  • Accountable for Vendor Management Program
  • Responsible for electronic data processing and information security policy.
  • Responsible for privacy policy.
  • Responsible for change management policy.
  • Responsible for record retention policy.
  • Responsible for GLBA, Part 364 appendix B.
  • Accountable for IS audits.
  • Serve on senior management and management committee.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



High School Education and 4 year college degree preferred

- or - Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of specialized and extensive in-house training


Strong computer science background. Knowledge of all jobs performed in the Operations Department and extensive knowledge of the Operations function within the bank. 


7 to 10 years of similar or related experience.


Strong management and strategic planning skills, along with communication, research and leadership skills. 


This is a full-time officer position.  This position reports to the President/CEO.  This position is located in Frankfort, IN.  The Farmers Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.  Benefits, 401(k) with match of 100% up to a 5% employee deferral.
