Frankfort, IN — Joseph C. Howarth began his employment with The Farmers Bank on May 13, 2013. He will serve as Vice President of Commercial Lending and Relationship Manager. Howarth began his banking career in 1977 with Indiana National Bank and has over 25 years of banking experience in multiple service areas with primary focus on commercial lending, team building, overall relationship management and most recently as a Community President for another Community Bank. Joe also has private and public business management experience with various companies either directly owned or managed for other parties of almost 12 years nestled in between banking related jobs.
He is currently on the Family Selection Committee for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lafayette, past Board Member of the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, past Treasurer for Stars and Stripes, Inc. of Lafayette and has served in various capacities with other not-for-profit organizations in various communities where he has resided. Joe lives in Lafayette with his wife, Sandy.
