The Farmers Bank is pleased to announce that James (Jay) D. Moore has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors.
Jay Moore has been a practicing lawyer since 1977 and a partner in the law firm of Ryan, Moore & Cook since 1983. Jay’s practice has centered upon real estate, commercial real estate financing, business, and banking law. He graduated in 1974 from DePauw University with high distinction and in 1977 from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, and a member of the Order of the Coif.
Jay is a member of the board of directors of the St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital Foundation, the board of directors of the District Four Pro Bono Corporation and serves as chairman of the Clinton County Election Board.
He formerly served on the board of directors of the Frankfort Bantam Youth Football program and also served as a coach for several seasons, is a past president of the Frankfort Kiwanis Club, and was a founding member of the board of directors of Frankfort Main Street, Inc.
Jay and his wife, Diana, reside in Frankfort, Indiana, and they have one son, Adam.
