WHAT IS HANDI-CASH?
HANDI-CASH is a pre-approved revolving line of credit with overdraft protection. The Farmers Bank will agree to lend you a specified amount of money, if and when you need it. That means you don't pay for the service until you use it, and then you pay only on the amount you use.
HOW DO I QUALIFY?
First, you must have a Farmers Bank checking account. Secondly, you must provide us with some basic information on our credit application. Lastly, once we notify you of approval you can start using HANDI-CASH as you need it.
HOW DO I USE HANDI-CASH?
Two different ways
1. Simply write a check for the amount you need. When your check comes in, we will automatically transfer from your HANDI-CASH to your checking account to cover the amount your checking account is short. Transfers will be made in $100.00 increments.
2. You may stop by or call any of our banking offices and request a transfer of a specific amount within your credit limit.
HOW DO I KNOW THE STATUS OF MY HANDI-CASH ACCOUNT?
Each month all the activity of your HANDI-CASH will be included with your monthly bank statement. You may also obtain the status from our Tellers or Consumer Loan Department.
HOW DO I REPAY MY HANDI-CASH?
You may repay the entire balance at any time. Monthly payments will be taken automatically from your checking account. These payments will be taken on the TENTH (10) day after your monthly statement date. If you make payment before your statement date but do not pay off the balance, we will still take an automatic payment.
