Here's a list of books I have recently read and found to be helpful, informative, or just plain entertaining. Enjoy.
Every Shot Must Have a Purpose by Pia Nilsson & Lynn Marriott
Now that golf season is in full swing, this is an encouraging book to impact your game. Not only does this book have powerful techniques for improving your golf game, more importantly these techniques will have phenomenal results with your game of life.
The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino
This book is a quick read about a spiritual journey for Hafid and his quest for wealth. The story will touch your life and how you care for the lives around you.
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
I read this book for the first time in the early 1990’s. No other book (besides the Bible) has more dramatically impacted my life. Solid wisdom of the ages that is organized in a usable format.
Proverbs
There are thirty-one (31) chapters to this book. Wise people read a chapter a day every day (based on the day
of the month) and then repeat the book every month. A book that is filled with gems of wisdom.
Good to Great by Jim Collins
This book is the result of twenty-one (21) of the very best graduate students researching as a team, the
components of "good" companies and "great" companies. The research clearly articulates the key determinates
of greatness. A must read for anyone that desires their company to be great.
A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson
What a delightful read about Bill's experience of walking the 2,100-mile Appalachian Trial, which stretches from
Georgia to Maine. This is a laugh-out-loud adventure that provides opportunities to witness the astonishing landscape
along with the majestic silliness of fellow human beings.
