A debit card scam was recently reported to our bank. Customers said that they had received phone calls and the caller is requesting their debit card information. This is not a legitimate call. This is a scam. The Farmers Bank has not produced this phone call and will never send such calls asking the customer to share their debit card or any other personal account information over the telephone.

While this may seem like common sense, many banks are hesitant to say it out loud. It’s a bold claim to make, because asking for total commitment
