The Friends of the Frankfort Library and I would like to thank The Farmers Bank for a wonderful night of entertainment on Saturday, January 21, 2012 in the Elizabeth O'Rear Skanta Theatre. Mike Massa presents "An Evening with Elvis" concert was enjoyed by the sold out crowd and I received many positive comments from patrons appreciative of the show and the memories it evoked. Mike does a very realistic tribute show with the vocals and costumes reminiscent of "The King" and his well loved music. This unique show brought several patrons who had never before attended our concert series and we were happy to see new faces and hope they will return for another concert in the future. We were pleased to add The Farmers Bank as general sponsor on the publicity and promotions for the "An Evening with Elvis" concert. The Friends of the Library are able to continue providing unique musical entertainment opportunities for the community while keeping our ticket prices affordable due to sponsorships like yours. On behalf of the Megan S. Ott Foundation please accept our sincerest thanks for your sponsorship in support of the foundation and its work in helping breast cancer patients. In March 2010, a month before her death, our daughter Megan and her husband Tom founded the Megan S. Ott Foundation with the defined purpose of helping women, men and their families as they live with the everyday physical and emotional challenges of breast cancer. Megan left her husband, and two beautiful young daughters and this foundation as her legacy.
As a "young" foundation we have been able to establish a board of council members and directors that has grown to over 70 volunteers, which in the last year have been able to help dozens of recipients. As Megan said when the foundation was founded "Our number one priority is to bring as much joy, happiness and laughter into their lives as possible". Thank you for helping us continue achieving her dream.
In the weeks, months and years ahead we will be working very hard to continue building a foundation that has the resources and volunteers to help every breast cancer patient that looks to the foundation for assistance. I would like to thank you for your generous donation. Because of you my recent trip to the Junior High National Finals Rodeo in Gallup, New Mexico was an experience of a lifetime. There were over 900 contestants from all over the United States as well as Canada and Australia. Although I did not do as well as I would have liked to, it is an experience I will never forget. My time in Gallup, New Mexico was an experience of a lifetime. It is a memory I will always remember, but one part that will always stand out in this experience was hanging out after the late performances with all the people and contestants from all different states. In my time in Gallup I have learned that, "You are not there for a long time but you're there for a good time". I was proud to be there representing Team Indiana. Thank you for your recent contribution to 2011 Race for the Cure. Through events like Race for the Cure, our affiliate is able to invest millions to help achieve our mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever.
Of the funds raised, 75% remain in Central Indiana to help cover the cost of education, screenings, treatment assistance and survivor support for Central Indiana's most vulnerable and underserved residents. The remaining 25% of dollars raised fund research to improve treatments and ultimately find a cure for this disease.

Today we had our visit at the Fishers Farmers Bank branch. I want to share what a wonderful tour Chad Garrard, the branch manager, provided for the first grade Cub Scouts. He and his staff went out of their way to host an informative and fun tour. They took time to answer all the boys questions and offered much information as well. The boys learned a lot and loved their surprise goodies. In fact, my own son is sleeping with his Farmers Bank piggy bank by his bed. Thank you so much for your assistance in helping me contact the new branch manager. Please pass on what a great branch it is and what outstanding employees work there.
